The variety belongs to the Eazyleaf category and is intended for fresh consumption and inclusion in salad mixes. The plant is characterized by a compact, upright habit, good growth rate, and a finely serrated leaf shape.
The variety has high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races EU:16–36, 38–40 and US:1–9, currant-lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, Nr:0), and tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV). It also has intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1). Improved bolting tolerance allows the variety to be used for all-season cultivation.
