Karminova — early-maturing Lollo Rossa type leaf lettuce variety. The plant forms a large voluminous rosette of dense, heavily wavy-edged leaves of a dark red color. The average weight of a rosette is about 350 g, the period from germination to technical maturity takes 30–40 days.
The variety is universal in cultivation, suitable for year-round cultivation in protected cultivation, including hydroponics, as well as for open field. It is characterized by high resistance to bolting, internal necrosis, downy mildew (races Bl:17-22, 24-26, 32EU) and Fol:1. Intended for fresh consumption and use in salad mixes.
