The medium-sized plant reaches a mass of 250–300 g. The leaf color is intense, burgundy, covering almost the entire surface of the leaf. The variety is characterized by late bolting; it is recommended for cultivation in November and from February to April.
It possesses resistance to downy mildew Bremia lactucae races 1–16. The variety is suitable for open field and film greenhouses with a planting density of 20–25 plants per 1 m². It tolerates crowding well, is undemanding in care, and maintains intense leaf color when grown under film.
