Kyrio is an Oakleaf-type lettuce variety. The plant forms a voluminous, well-structured rosette of tender, glossy green leaves. The variety is early-maturing.
The plant possesses high resistance to a wide range of downy mildew races (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:16–28, 30–32) and to lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, Nr:0). The variety is adapted to open field conditions, exhibits resistance to bolting, and tolerates heat stress.
The variety is intended for cultivation during the spring-summer and autumn periods.
