The variety belongs to the 'multi-leaf' butterhead lettuce category. When the base is cut, the head breaks down into a multitude of leaves of the same size. The leaves are of an intense red color, broad and firm; the plant forms a rosette with a tightly closed, slightly raised lower part.
The plant is of a medium maturity group, resistant to bolting and double heading. It has high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bl:29-41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0), as well as intermediate resistance (IR) to Fusarium wilt (Fol:4).
Due to its upright habit, the variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting in open field and protected cultivation. The variety possesses the Knox trait, which slows down the browning of cut leaf edges, increasing the shelf life of the produce.
