The variety belongs to the Batavia type and is morphologically similar to the Carmen variety. The medium-sized plant has thick, blistered leaves with a serrated edge. The leaf color is bright light green with slight anthocyanin pigmentation.
The variety is versatile and suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation throughout the entire season. It possesses a crunchy texture, is resistant to bolting, and has low sensitivity to marginal leaf burn.
The plant possesses high resistance to lettuce downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) strains Bl:16–21, 23, 32EU. It also has intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lactucae) strains Fol:1, Fol:4.
