The variety belongs to the Batavia (blonde) type. The leaves are characterized by a light, bright green color; the plant possesses excellent ability to resist tip burn.
The variety is intended for cultivation in open field, but it is also adapted for early summer transplanting in greenhouses.
The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae), races Bl:29–41EU, as well as to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lactucae), races Fol:1,4.
