The variety belongs to the butterhead lettuce group. The plant forms a voluminous head with a well-formed and tightly closed base; the leaves have a pronounced blistered texture and a dark red color.
The variety has resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races BL 16–26, 28 and shows reduced sensitivity to marginal leaf burn. The lettuce is suitable for cultivation during the spring, summer, and autumn periods in open field conditions.
