The variety is early or mid-season, the period from germination to harvest is 50–65 days. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, 18–20 cm high. The plant forms a loose oval or round-oval head weighing up to 400 g, sometimes up to 1 kg. The leaves are tender, oily, light green in color, often with a bronze or reddish-brown tint at the edges.
The variety is cold-resistant, withstands temperature drops down to -5°C, possesses resistance to powdery mildew, but has low resistance to bolting. It is an heirloom variety that is traditionally used as self-renewing. Intended for open field and protected cultivation, it is recommended for fresh consumption due to poor transportability.
