The variety forms broad, slightly flattened heads with good closure on the underside. The leaves have a light green or yellow-green hue and a slight gloss. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption.
The plant is intended for cultivation during the late spring, summer, and early autumn periods, though the head forms slowly during the summer period. The variety is resistant to bolting, downy mildew (races Bl: 1–23, 25), lettuce mosaic virus (LMV), and the aphid species Nasonovia ribisnigri (biotype Nr:0).
