Mondaï forms a compact head with a flat base and thick, glossy, deep red leaves. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor and increased bolting resistance.

Possesses high resistance to downy mildew races Bl:16, 21, 23, 32EU and lettuce aphid, as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus. The produce features good keeping quality and contrasting color.

The variety is intended for hydroponic cultivation and inclusion in Salatrio combinations for the winter period. It may show sensitivity to a combination of excessive humidity and low temperatures.
