The variety was obtained by the method of controlled pollination of the parental forms Multy and the breeding line Nunhem's line 71982007, followed by individual selection in generations F2–F6. The main selection criteria during breeding were head shape, leaf morphology, and resistance to downy mildew.
The plant belongs to the type of lettuce for cutting or harvesting individual leaves and has green wavy oak-type leaves. The variety demonstrates resistance to various isolates of the downy mildew pathogen Bremia lactucae and is characterized as a type for producing baby leaf.
