The variety belongs to the Multileaf type of leaf lettuces. The plant has anthocyanin red leaf coloration, while the seeds are black. During the breeding process, selection was carried out for leaf shape and thickness, as well as rosette size.
The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) and tolerance to bolting. The variety was obtained by crossing the commercial variety Multy and the breeding line 74030278, followed by pedigree selection.
