The variety forms a large voluminous rosette with an intense, stable red color that does not lose brightness in low light conditions. The growing season is 60–70 days; the plant is characterized by rapid growth.
The lettuce is resistant to bolting and stretching at high summer temperatures, as well as to tip burn and internal necrosis. It is suitable for sale on the fresh market due to the preservation of its commercial appearance during packaging.
The plant possesses high tolerance to downy mildew (races 1–27), resistance to currant-lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri) (race 0), and lettuce mosaic virus.
