The variety belongs to the Valladolid type and is characterized by good head formation and density. The leaves have a medium green shade and a pointed base shape.
It possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races 16, 18–28, 30–32), lettuce mosaic virus (pathotypes 1 and 2), Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum, race 1), and aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, biotype 0). It is resistant to bolting, tipburn, and the physiological defect known as twister.
