The variety forms large, tightly closed heads with medium-sized leaves. The leaves are smooth, crisp, light green in color with slightly wavy edges, and have a tender texture.
The plant is characterized by exceptional frost resistance and is capable of overwintering in the open field without cover at temperatures down to –15°C...–20°C. The variety is adapted for obtaining early harvests in the autumn, winter, and spring periods, although it is prone to rapid bolting under long-day conditions.
