The variety forms large, closed and dense heads up to 20–50 cm in height. Leaves are light green, smooth or slightly wavy, with a dense, crisp texture.
The plant is intended for sowing in late summer and overwintering in the open field without cover, which allows for harvesting in March–April. The variety prefers sunny locations with light, permeable soils; when grown in the spring-summer period, it is prone to rapid bolting.
