The Onetti RZ variety belongs to the Romaine type and is intended for professional cultivation. Its heads have a reduced size of 26–28 cm, which meets current requirements for product compactness.
The plant possesses high resistance to lettuce downy mildew Bremia lactucae (races Bl: 16–35). The variety is suitable for high-density planting and mechanical harvesting.
The variety incorporates Knox™ technology, which provides increased resistance to oxidation, allowing for a significantly extended shelf life of the produce after harvest.
