The leaf is dense, smooth, deep red in color without brown shades, with an evenly serrated margin and a buttery tissue consistency.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:16-37EU) and currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0), as well as to bolting and marginal leaf burn. Intended for fresh market sale.
