The variety belongs to the mini-romaine type and is characterized by high vigor, compactness, and uniformity of plants. It is suitable for universal use, including marketing produce as "hearts". Plants are characterized by slow bolting and high resistance to internal tipburn.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:29-33, 37, 38EU and Bl:7-10US), Fusarium wilt (races Fol:1, 4), currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0), and lettuce mosaic virus. Intermediate resistance to Rhizoctonia solani is also claimed.
