The variety is a leaf lettuce, which is characterized as a darker green version of the popular «Grand Rapids» variety. The plant forms a very uniform rosette of green leaves.
The variety is mid-season, with a maturity period of about 45 days. Resistance to leaf tip burn is claimed.
