Sadecole is a light Batavia-type lettuce variety forming a voluminous rosette of bright green glossy finely dissected leaves. The variety is characterized as early-maturing and is distinguished by good balance.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races 29–41 EU) and intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt (race 4) and lettuce aphid (race 0).
The variety is intended for cultivation in protected ground; in particular, it is recommended as a winter greenhouse crop.
