The variety is a butterhead lettuce that forms a compact rosette of bright dark green leaves. The plant has wide adaptability and maintains market quality when grown throughout the year, including during the summer period due to its slowed bolting.
The plant has high resistance to downy mildew (races 29–34, 36, 39, 40) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0). It also has intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and Fusarium wilt (Fol:4).
