The plant is vigorous, forming heavy heads that are capable of closing and blanching early, which provides flexibility in harvest timing. The leaves have an excellent texture; the variety is suitable for heart production, packaging, and industrial processing.
The variety has resistance to corky root rot, downy mildew (races CA I–VI), as well as to tip burn and fog damage. Recommended for cultivation during the early and mid-season periods in the open field.
