The medium-sized plant forms large, succulent, glossy, red-purple leaves with pronounced waviness. According to morphological characteristics, the variety belongs to the crystalline lettuce category, resembling the open iceberg type.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, isolates Bl: 16EU, 29-41EU) and tipburn. Intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and Fusarium wilt (Fol:1) is also noted.
The crop is suitable for year-round cultivation, including methods using artificial lighting, and is suitable for high planting density. The produce is distinguished by good keeping quality and transportability, and is used for sale as whole heads and in salad mixes.
