Variety description

The plant forms a small head with a rounded base. The leaves are grayish-purple in color, moderately glossy, with entire margins and a distinctly raised midrib. The seeds are white.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae), including races 29, 30, 32–34, 36, 39EU. It is used in fresh form and is often applied in agronomic research related to the control of leaf tip burn in hydroponic systems.
