The variety is intended for cultivation for baby leaf lettuce mixes. The leaves have a characteristic wine-red hue, are flexible, and have an attractive appearance.
The plant has resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae), in particular to European races Bl 16-21, 23-26, 28-33 and 35.
