The variety forms attractive, slightly shiny green leaves. The heads have a good structure but are characterized as slow-forming. During summer cultivation in the initial phase of development, the variety may form loose heads and be sold as a rosette.
The leaves have a tender texture, the base of the rosette is clean, and the core is very thin. The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl 1–16, 21, 23) and intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus. The plant tolerates exposure to high temperatures well.
