The variety Taco belongs to the Baby Leaf group and is intended for professional cultivation for both the fresh market and processing. The plant is characterized by its suitability for obtaining young leaf produce in intensive cultivation.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to a wide spectrum of Bremia lactucae downy mildew races (range Bl:16–41EU), resistance to the root aphid Nasonovia ribisnigri (race Nr:0), and tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV). It also has intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1).
