The variety belongs to the Batavia type and is morphologically close to the Lollo Verde type with a characteristic finely curled leaf margin. The medium-sized plant forms a rosette of dense, glossy leaves possessing good keeping quality after harvest.

The plant is resistant to bolting. It possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Bl:29-41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and Fusarium wilt (Fol:4).

The variety is suitable for sale on the fresh market and for processing. It can be grown professionally, including in hydroponic systems; organic seed options are available.
