The variety forms a head with leaf closure of the "fish mouth" type. The produce has good market quality and is suitable for use both as whole heads and as "hearts". The plant is suitable for cultivation in open field conditions and in greenhouses.

The variety has high resistance to lettuce powdery mildew (races Bl: 29–41), lettuce aphid (Nr:0), and Fusarium wilt (Fol:1). It is characterized by resistance to leaf tip burn and premature bolting.
