The variety forms a rosette of elongated, serrated-edged light-green leaves, reaching 20–30 cm in height and width. The leaves have a crisp texture, and the taste is mild and sweet.
The plant is intended for cultivation in open field, greenhouses, or on raised beds from spring to autumn. Both gradual cutting of outer leaves and harvesting the entire plant are permitted. The variety is an open-pollinated type rather than a hybrid and requires an average level of moisture and nutrients when planted at a spacing of 20–25 cm.
