A perennial aromatic subshrub with a highly branched stem and densely leafy narrow linear leaves. The variety is characterized by high survival rates after adaptation in vitro, which range from 78.9–87.7%.

The essential oil content in dry inflorescences of the Krajová variety varies in the range from 1.15 to 4.05 ml per 100 g of raw material. The variety is recognized as a stable genotype, which allows it to be used as an object for biotechnological research and biochemical analysis.
