Variety description

The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant with a height of 160–260 cm and a deep taproot system. It forms 6–20 erect, rigid, branching stems. Leaves are large; lower leaves are five-lobed, upper leaves are three-lobed. Flowers are pink with pronounced dark veins.
The plant possesses high resistance to lodging, winter hardiness, and drought tolerance. Vegetation begins in May, flowering occurs at the end of the summer of the first year of life, and seed ripening occurs in early autumn. The variety is self-pollinating, yet is characterized by low natural seed germination, requiring pre-sowing preparation.
Productivity is 15–25 t of dry matter per hectare and 150–400 kg of honey per hectare. The chemical composition of the biomass is close to wood, with an ash content of 6.5–7%. The variety is used for cellulose production, as medicinal raw material, and for land reclamation and slope grassing.
