The variety has an erect growth habit and belongs to the mid-early maturity group. Due to its resistance to lodging, the plant is suitable for mechanized harvesting.
The variety is highly productive, maintains stable yield in both conventional and organic farming, and is valued for excellent cooking properties. Recommended for cultivation in productive lowland areas.
In scientific research, Samos is often used as a reference sample for studying genetic diversity and evaluating the resistance of local varieties to pests such as pea aphid and Bruchus.
