The variety belongs to the group of small-seeded lentil varieties. Plants of this type typically reach a height of up to 50 cm, have small pods with seeds 2–6 mm in diameter and a thousand kernel weight of 20 to 40 g. This group of varieties is characterized by increased drought tolerance compared to large-seeded counterparts.

The average yield of the variety is 1.2 t/ha. The optimal seeding rate for seeds with high germination capacity varies from 1.5 to 3.5 million/ha, with the highest productivity indicators achieved during early spring sowing. The variety is most often grown for fodder purposes, although it can also be used for human consumption.
