The variety is intended for cultivation in controlled environments: in trays, bowls, or on substrates such as cellulose wool. Plants reach a height of 4–6 cm in 7–14 days from sowing, which allows the variety to be used as a "quick" crop throughout the year.

Young sprouts are consumed raw. The greens are added to salads, soups, sandwiches, pâtés, and sauces, and are also used to garnish dishes. Heat treatment is not recommended as it negatively affects the flavor qualities of the product.
