The variety is a compact, dense, and bushy shrub, the height of which varies from 30 to 60 cm. The plant's leaves are glossy and lanceolate. During the flowering period, which occurs in May–June, small white bell-shaped flowers gathered in axillary inflorescences appear on the shrub.
The plant prefers shade or partial shade and requires acidic, well-drained soils. The variety is characterized by frost resistance down to -20°C, though young specimens require protection from frost. In landscape design, it is used for borders, hedges, and as a groundcover or container plant.
The variety possesses general resistance to pests and major diseases. In conditions of a cool, humid spring, fungal leaf spots may occur; therefore, it is recommended to maintain good air circulation and avoid overhead irrigation.
