The Cairo lily variety is included in the International Lily Register as a representative of the Asiatic hybrid group (classification I(a/-)).

The flowers have a yellowish-white main color (RHS code 155D). The basal half of the inner perianth segments is complemented by a dark red border (code 187B), and the flower throat has a pale yellow shade.
