The Calabria variety is an LA-hybrid obtained by crossing Nerone and Hir forms. The plant is characterized by its height, reaching 110–120 cm. The number of buds formed is from 2–4 to 5–7 per flower stalk.

The flowers have a deep red color, corresponding to code 185A on the color chart, with a possible darker red-brown shade at the petal edges. The period from planting to flowering during forcing is 80–90 days. The variety is characterized by a strong stem suitable for transport and floristic use.
