The variety is an OT-hybrid (Oriental × Trumpet). The flowers are large, approximately 22 cm in diameter, and possess a moderate purple-red coloration of the perianth lobes, which lightens towards the edges. A deep red-purple vein color and a greenish-white throat are characteristic.

The plant forms tall and sturdy stems, reaching 120–140 cm in height. The variety was obtained by crossing seedlings 88-99 and RM 94-23.
