The plant belongs to Oriental hybrids derived from Japanese lily species. The stem height is 90–130 cm. The flowers have a diameter of 15–30 cm, a star-shaped or funnel-shaped form with recurved petal edges, and are distinguished by bright orange or brown anthers.
Flowering occurs during the period from July to August, sometimes extending into early September. The variety has a distinct fragrance. Due to the large, heavy inflorescences, the stems may require the installation of supports. Winter hardiness is estimated as moderate; the plant is suitable for cut flowers and cultivation in open field or containers.
