The Curie variety belongs to the Oriental hybrid group. The flowers have a distinct fragrance, a pink-violet base color, complemented by dark speckles and a light border along the petal edges. Plant height varies from 80 to 110 cm; in individual cases under certain conditions, it can reach 50–60 cm. Flowering occurs from July to August.

The plant prefers well-drained neutral soils and sites protected from the wind. When planting bulbs, a depth of 10–15 cm is recommended with an interval of 10 to 30 cm. Care requires moderate watering at the base, avoiding water on the leaves, and staking of the stems if necessary.
