The name "Monte Cassino" in lily cultivation is controversial, as it was rejected by the registrar due to duplication with another Asiatic hybrid. Under this name, the company Mak-Leek Inc. promoted the variety registered as "Mount Angel".

The flowers of the "Mount Angel" variety are white with yellowish-green central veins and green open nectaries. The edges of the outer petals are strongly wavy, and the tips are recurved. The plant height reaches 1.2 m, the flowering period is mid-season.
