The variety belongs to the Asiatic hybrid group. The plant is erect, 60–100 cm tall, with dark green stems. The leaves are alternate, lanceolate, dark green, and glossy.

The flowers are cup-shaped, dark red with small dark spots in the center, and 15–20 cm in diameter. They are oriented upward or outward, with slightly recurved petals. Each stem produces from 3 to 10 flowers, which have a faint scent or no scent at all.

The variety is early-flowering, with blooming occurring in June-July, and a growing season of 85–95 days. The plant is winter-hardy, withstanding frosts down to -20°C. Good drainage is required during cultivation to prevent fungal diseases. The plant is toxic to cats.
