Montezuma lily belongs to the Oriental hybrid group. The plant reaches a height of 110–130 cm. The large flowers, 25–27 cm in diameter, have a cup shape, are dark pink or burgundy in color with purple-ruby speckles and a yellowish center, and are directed sideways and upwards. An inflorescence of up to 4 flowers forms on the sturdy stem.
The variety blooms in July–August and is suitable for planting in open ground, containers, or for commercial cut flower production, maintaining freshness in bouquets. The forcing time is approximately 105 days. The plant is winter hardy, withstands temperatures down to -35°C, possesses disease resistance, and has low susceptibility to leaf tip burn.
