The variety is classified as an Asiatic hybrid, while white-flowered OT hybrids are often sold in commercial catalogs under the trade name "Monte Bianco". Plant height varies from 90 to 130 cm, and may reach 180 cm for certain OT hybrids.

The flowers are pure white in color and have a diameter of 15–20 cm. The flowering period occurs from June to August. Asiatic hybrid "Mont Blanc" varieties are characterized by a weak or absent fragrance, while OT hybrids have a more pronounced scent.

The plant is a perennial and is sufficiently winter-hardy, not requiring obligatory lifting in temperate climate conditions. It is intended for ornamental gardening, including group and solitary plantings.
