The Trendy Havana variety belongs to the group of Asiatic hybrids. The height of the plant is from 20 to 50 cm. The stems are strong, erect, well-leafy, and covered with dark green linear or lanceolate leaves.
The flowers are upward-facing, have a classic shape, and a diameter from 11 to 16 cm. The petal color is deep burgundy-red, often with a dark, almost black dusting. Pollen and fragrance are absent.
The variety is early-flowering; the flowering period occurs in June–July, and the time from planting to flowering is 48–64 days. The plant possesses winter hardiness (zone 4) and resistance to diseases.
