The Volvic variety belongs to the group of TA-hybrids obtained by crossing trumpet and Asiatic lilies. The plant forms a strong, erect stem 120 to 140 cm in height.

The flowers are large, star-shaped, and face upward. The petals have a dense satin texture, are white, glossy, with wavy edges and slightly recurved tips. A ring of small spots and a frosty-greenish nectary may be present at the base; the fragrance is mild.

The variety is early; flowering begins in late May or early June. The plant possesses high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 3–4, and good growth vigor. It is used for garden decoration, container cultivation, and cut flowers.
