Plants of this variety have low to medium height. Flowers are medium-sized, blue. Seeds are brown, thousand kernel weight is characterized as medium-high.

The variety is distinguished by high fat content in seeds. The oil has a medium content of linoleic and linolenic acids; the variety is classified as a type with medium alpha-linolenic acid content. A high content of secoisolariciresinol diglucoside (SECO) is noted.

The variety belongs to the food-grade utilization category and demonstrates high seed and oil yield. In professional research, it is used as a reference genotype of oilseed flax.
